| 1997 Steiff Miniature Bear Created for Margarete Steiffâ??s 150th Birthday. I purchased this miniature (6.5â? or 16 cm tall) bear in Australia. It was created as part of Steiffâ??s historic miniature bear collection to celebrate the 150th birthday of Margarete Steiff. This bear is made of white mohair; it is fully jointed. The bear has glass eyes and hand stitched paws and nose. He has been stored in protective wrap in a closed bedroom closet devoted to my Steiff collection. My home is smoke and pet free. The bear is in mint condition and has all of its tags.... | |
