ONE OF A KIND (Actually 2 of A Kind) Steiff doll bears referred to as a dressed Teddy Baby - Manufactured in the US Zone of Germany. The bears have glass eyes with fabric body and dark brown mohair accents. They are stuffed (I think) with excelsior with a cardboard base for standing. Such Cuties...Bear # 1 has the War Zone label intact and a cursive Steiff button that dates 1952 to 1953. Damage to the mouth and mohair loss to face and both feet. Damage to left foot - well loved Bear #2 has a remnant of the War Zone label and a blocked underscored Steiff button 1950-1952. - Very Good condition.Both bears have jointed arms and unjointed legs, both heads turn around and swivel. Both bears are 9 inches, however Bear #1 appears longer due to damage to left foot. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
