Original Steiff Jackie 50th Anniversary Bear 1953-55
Due to this relatively short production period, an original Jackie Bear is very hard to find. There were later reproductions made in the late 1980â??s, however this Jackie is original and bears a label which reads â??US Zone Germanyâ?, which aligns her with the 1953-55 date.

VINTAGE STEIFF 1953 JACKIE TEDDY BEAR: POST-WAR US ZONE TAG REMNANT ON ARM!
RARE 1953 STEIFF JACKIE BEAROffering a beautiful rare vintage 50's original Steiff 10" Jackie Bear in excellent clean condition. He still retains remnants of his US Zone tag on the back of his right arm indicating that he dates to 1953-54. You can read the word Germany on the bit of tag. Teddy has almost all of his faded blonde mohair with very minor thinning. He has glass eyes and his original nose and mouth stitching. He no longer has his Steiff ear button. He came to me wearing an old brown ribbon with a rusty cow bell attached to it around his neck. He's a very cute example of these sweet, chunky bears with chubby legs and belly. He is in strong condition and is able to self-stand on his own. This bear is fully stuffed with excelsior and is 5-way jointed and all original, with 4 claws on his paws and feet. All 4 of his paw pads are clean and in excellent condition with no holes and only a black spot on his right foot pad as shown. See all photos that describe this adorable bear best! ANTIQUE 1950s US Zone Germany STEIFF TEDDY BEARS - Selling as a Pair TEDDY BABY
ONE OF A KIND (Actually 2 of A Kind) Steiff doll bears referred to as a dressed Teddy Baby - Manufactured in the US Zone of Germany. The bears have glass eyes with fabric body and dark brown mohair accents. They are stuffed (I think) with excelsior with a cardboard base for standing. Such Cuties...Bear # 1 has the War Zone label intact and a cursive Steiff button that dates 1952 to 1953. Damage to the mouth and mohair loss to face and both feet. Damage to left foot - well loved Bear #2 has a remnant of the War Zone label and a blocked underscored Steiff button 1950-1952. - Very Good condition.Both bears have jointed arms and unjointed legs, both heads turn around and swivel. Both bears are 9 inches, however Bear #1 appears longer due to damage to left foot. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
